Ingredients

  1. 1 cup idli rice
  2. 1/2 cup chana dal
  3. 1/4 cup toor dal
  4. 2-3 spoonurad dal
  5. 1 cup curd
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 2-3green chilli
  8. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp red mirch powdar
  10. as neededcoriander leaves
  11. 1 -pouch ENO
  12. 1 tspsesame seed
  13. 1 cup grated bottle gourd, carrot, cabbage
  14. For chutney-
  15. 1 cup coriander leave
  16. 1 -cup mint leaves
  17. 2-3green chilli
  18. 5-6 clovegarlic
  19. 1 -inch ginger
  20. 1 -spoon sugar
  21. 1 -spoon cumin seed
  22. to tasteSalt
  23. 3-4 spoonlemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the above lentils and soak in water for 4-5 hours..now add curd and grind in the mixer to form a paste..now add green chillies,coriander leaves,red chilli powder,turmeric,salt and grated Carrot,cabbage and bottlegourd..now mix everything..

    Lastly add a packet of eno..now take a nonstick pan..add oil on it then add cumin seeds and sesame seeds..now add the batter..now wait till it becomes crispy on both the sides(golden brown)..your handvo is ready

    Now for the chutney add all the above chutney ingredients and grind it in the mixture.. your chutney is ready.
