Modak is favourite for Ganesh Festival. This besan modak can be made with minimum ingredients and in no time.
Steps

Heat ghee in a kadai and add gram flour and roast on low heat till a nice aroma is given out - for approximately 10 minutes.

Add turmeric powder and mix well.

Turn off the flame and add cardamom powder and dry fruits and mix well.

Allow the mixture to cool before adding powdered sugar.

Add sugar and mix properly.

Take modak mould remove it's pin. Put a little dough in the mould and press it by spoon or finger.

Then open the mould and place the modak in a plate. Prepare all the modaks likewise.

Cool and store in airtight container.
