I really wanted pancakes, but didn't have any baking powder. I mixed what I had and they turned out pretty good. This recipe will make a very dense and wet pancake. You may even use it as part of a dessert.

1 cupflour
4 tspsugar
1 tspvanilla extract
1egg
3/4 cupmilk
1/4 tspsalt

Mix all dry ingredients together and set aside.

Whisk egg and milk together and slowly pour into dry mix.

Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Heat pan and allow to cook until done.
