Chocolate Kaju Katli / Plain Kaju Katli

Take 300g sugar and add a little water and make a thick sugar syrup of it.When you take it in a spoon a droplet should come of it.

You then add 100g mava or khoya to make it soft.If you do so put 50g of kaju powder less.Cook for 2-3 minutes.Mix it well then put a drop of rose essence and a pinch of elaichi powder.Now add Kaju Powder and mix well for 2-3 minutes.

Now remove half of it into a plate.In the other half add chocolate chips and cocoa powder and mix well till it's all mixed properly.

Let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.
When it is a little warm,take a thick plastic paper and put the mixture on it and cover it with half if the paper and press and slide the paper and make it smooth. - 5
Make a big ball of it like a chappati and roll it thick.You may keep it thin as per your choice.Let it cool down for 10-15.

Repeat the same for the Chocolate Kaju Katri

Then take a pizza cutter and cut it into a diamond shape.Remove the side offcuts.Then take a pizza cutter and cut it into a diamond shape.Now cover the kaju katri with silver foil (varakh).

Remove the pieces and spread them in a tray till they dries.Now the Kaju Katri is ready.
