Stuffed Karela /bittergourd

Trim the edges of bitter guard, and scrape them, take out the seeds. And put them aside. Add salt to the karela and rub with salt all over so that bitterness vanishes and leave them for 20 min.

Take a pan add Coriander seeds, cumin seeds, groundnuts, grated coconut, red chillies, hing and dry roast them. Ground them adding little turmeric in the mixer into coarse powder.

Squeeze the water from karela, rinse with water.

Take a pan pour 2 tbsp of oil and add left over scraped karela and seeds,fry it well and now add grinded powder and sufficient salt. Fry the stuffing

Stuff the karela and tie them with thread tightly.

Take a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and shallow fry the stuffed karela, fry them well and add remaining stuffing to the pan.

Stuffed karela is ready to serve.
