Ingredients

  1. For dough
  2. 500 gmMaida
  3. 1/4 cupSuji
  4. 5-6 tbspButter /ghee
  5. 1 tbspIcing sugar
  6. 1 tspSalt
  7. 1 tspCardamom powder
  8. Milk 2 1/2 cup [warm (not boiling hot)]
  9. Water as required
  10. Filling
  11. 250 gmKhoya / Barfi/ Qalaqand
  12. Icing Sugar 1 1/2 cup OR according to taste
  13. Almond 1/2 cup (chopped)
  14. Pistachio 1/2 cup (chopped)
  15. 1 cupCoconut
  16. 1 tspCardamom powder
  17. 1 tspNutmeg powder

Steps

  1. 1

    For dough mix all dry ingredients with butter / ghee then knead with warm milk if required add water. Rest for 15 minutes (minimum)

  2. 2

    Meanwhile prepare filling: kneed khoya with icing sugar then add all other ingredients & mix it all. Keep aside

    Make a small round roti with dough, fill with khoya mixer.

  4. 4

    Make a half moon shape or u can use it’s utensils for shaping samosas.

  5. 5

    Deep fry on medium heat.
    Tadda
    If u like then dizzle some honey before serving

    Best for Road trip, Snack, hi tea
    Best in Ramadan & Rainy weather
