Ingredients

  1. For Koftas
  2. 1 cupGrated lauki
  3. To tasteSat and ref chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tspAmchoor
  5. As neededCoriander leaves - 1 tsp chopped Soda bicarb - a pinch
  6. As neededOil to fry
  7. For gravy :
  8. 1 cupOnion paste
  9. 1 cupTomato puree
  10. 2 tspGreen chilli ginger garlic paste
  11. Whole masala
  12. 1 tspJeera
  13. 3-6Cloves
  14. 2Bay leaves
  15. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  16. 1/4 cupCurd beaten Fresh cream - 1/4 cup Kaju paste - 1 tbsp
  17. To tasteSalt and red chilli powder
  18. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  19. 1 tspCoriander powder
  20. 1 tspGaram masala powder - 1/2 tsp Kasoori methi - 1/4 tsp
  21. 1/4 tspSugar
  22. As neededOil
  23. As neededCoriander leaves - to garnish Fresh cream to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    For Koftas : Take a bowl. Mix all ingredients. Bind it properly.

    Now grease your hands and take little portion and make oval shape.

  3. 3

    Fry on medium hot oil till golden brown in colour.
    Keep aside.

  4. 4

    For Gravy : In a pan heat oil. Put jeera and all khada masala. Stir for a min.

  5. 5

    Add GGC paste. Saute it. Add onion paste.

  6. 6

    Cook till pinkish colour to remove it's rawness. Add tomato puree.

  7. 7

    Mix well and cook till oil separates. Add curd, fresh cream and kaju paste. Mix well.

    Add all dry spices and sugar. Mix it and add required amount of water.

  9. 9

    Cover and cook till oil separates.
    Now take a serving bowl.

  10. 10

    Put gravy and arrange Koftas over it and garnish it with coriander leaves and fresh cream.

  11. 11

    Serve hot with Tandoori roti/ chappati.
