Ingredients

  1. 1 cupUrad dal
  2. 2 tbsp mung dal
  3. 5 cupYogurt-
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 7-8Raisins
  6. 1 tbspBesan
  7. Oil to deep fry
  8. 1 tbspSugar
  9. Green chutney as required
  10. Date and emliychutney as required
  11. 2 tbsRoasted cumin powder
  12. 2 tbspRed chilli powder
  13. leavesCoriander

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash and soak dal in cold water 5- hours.Drainexcess water.

  2. 2

    Grind dal to smooth paste.add Salt, raisins,and besan to the batter and whisk for 5- minutes.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a kadai.drop batter in it and fry light golden. Drain the Bhalla and soak of water.leave for 5- minutes.

    Whisk yogurt- well with Salt and sugar to taste.

  5. 5

    To serve,Bhalla on a plate and cover with yogurt-,green chutney,, sweet chutney.sprinkel red chilli powder,cumin powder.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
