Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbasmati rice
  2. 1chopped onions
  3. 2chopped tomatoes
  4. 1chopped capsicum
  5. 1 cupgreen peas boiled
  6. 1chopped green chilli
  7. 2 tbsppav bhaji masala
  8. 4 tbspbutter
  9. 1 1/2 tbsptomato ketchup
  10. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  11. 1/4 tspturmeric
  12. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 100 gramspaneer cube
  15. 1/2 tspsugar
  16. as neededFor garnishing coriander leaves
  17. as neededFor serve raita, salad

    First wash and cook the rice in any method you prefer. Add few drops of oil while cooking to get well departed strands.

    Incase of using store bought paneer soak it in hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove it from the water and keep aside.

    In a kadai add butter add in chilli garlic paste and cook till oil separates. Add the onions, green chilli and saute until translucent.

    Now add the tomatoes and give a stir. And cook it turns mushy

    Then add the ketchup,turmeric powder, chilli powder, pavbhaji masala, salt and mix well.

    Now add the green peas, capsicum give a nice stir and 1/2 cup of water. Mix well and turn the flame a low medium. Cook for a minute and raw smell of masala would be gone.

    Now add paneer cube and mix well.

    Finally add the cooked rice and mix well until the masala coats each rice.

    Turn off the flame garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with any raita, salad.
