  1. 1 lbground chuck
  2. 1 containerlow fat cottage cheese
  3. 1red onion - diced
  4. 1 canHunt's Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
  5. 1 canHunt's tomato sauce
  6. 1 canHunt's diced tomatoes
  7. 2 cupslow fat shredded mozzarella cheese
  8. 1egg
  9. 3 tspgarlic powder
  10. 3 tspsweet basil
  11. 3 tsporegano
  12. 2 tbspbrown sugar
  13. 1 boxmostocholi noodles

    Boil water for noodles

  2. 2

    Brown hamburger, drain

  3. 3

    Return hamburger to pan, add diced onions. Cook until onions are translucent.

  4. 4

    Mix cottage cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg, 1 tsp of garlic, 1 tsp of basil, and 1 tsp of oregano in separate bowl

  5. 5

    Add the spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and remaining spices to the hamburger and onions. Reduce heat to low

  6. 6

    Drain noodles and return to pot, but do not heat.

  7. 7

    Add meat sauce and cheese mixtures to the noodles. Stir until mixed.

  8. 8

    Put everything into a large baking pan coated with nonstick spray.

  9. 9

    Top with remains mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a dash of basil and oregano over the cheese.

  10. 10

    Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 20 min.

  11. 11

    Remove foil and continue baking for 10 min.

  12. 12

    If making ahead, cover with foil and then plastic wrap before freezing. Remove from freezer and put in refrigerator 24 hours prior to cooking. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 40 min at 350. Remove foil and bake for another 10 min uncovered.
