Steps

In a bowl add the flours. Mix it.

Add in turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, fennel powder, asafoetida, anchor and salt.

Add little water and bake a smooth batter. Batter consistency should not be too thin.

Now add the slit okras. Mix it well. Make sure okra is coated properly.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a deep vessel. Once the oil is hot, drop in okra one by one.

Do not drop too much of batter along with the okra. And drop okra one by one.

Fry it on a medium flame till the crust becomes golden in colour.

Once the okra is fried remove it on a kitchen towel, sprinkle chat masala over it and serve it hot with chutney.
