In a bowl mix sugar and yeast with a half cup of warm water, cover it and leave for at least 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, sieved in your flour, add baking powder, salt, milk and mix them. Add butter and whisked egg, mix the ingredients together using your fingers until crumbs.

Pour in your yeast mixture, and add your remaining half cup warm water little by little and make a dough, the dough will be sticky at first but if you keep kneading (knead for about 10mins😉)it will be fine dough.

Grease the bowl a little with oil so as to not make the dough stick to the bowl when it's rosen. Cover the dough with kitchen cloth or plastic wrap and leave it to rise for about an hour. Or until it double its size.

After an hour or so, kneed the already rosen dough for about 2mins to make sure there's no air, and divide your dough into 4 (if you want it big) or 6 (if you want it medium).

Make each dough flat with your hands and then roll it then fold it, then you pick the ends of the fold and twist it. Making it look like a mushroom. (I recommend you watch a vid of YouTube)

Grease your pan and place your dough, cover it and leave for 30mins to rise, then egg washed them and springle sesame (optional). Bake for 45mins. Serve with hot milk or chocolate or tea
