Ingredients

  • 1-9 inchdeep dish frozen pie crust
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/4 cupcornstarch
  • 2 cupsmilk
  • 1/2 stickmargarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoonground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoonnutmeg

    Leave frozen pie crust out on countertop to thaw for 10-15 minutes.....

    In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch, then stir in milk.....

    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, keep stirring until mixture becomes thick....

    Next, remove mixture from heat and add margarine, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg, stir well....

    Pour mixture into the thawed pie crust...

    Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 30 minutes.....
