Cooking Instructions

Pressure cook the chana with the water,salt,garlic for 6 whistles on hight heat.

Turn the heat to medium and pressure cook for about 10 min they are soft let the pressure come off.

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan add cumin seeds and turmeric powder when the seeds saute for a minute. Add onion saute till the onion is golden brown.

Add tomato puree and mix well add all spices mix well and 5-6 min add chana and mix well. Add some water if needed.

Cook covered over low heat for 5-6 min. Turn off the heat and set a side.

For the bhatures- knead the dough adding all ingredients and warm water (as required). Make a smooth dough and let it settle for 2-3 hours make bhatures when needed enjoy eating.
