Potol Bhaja: Fried Pointed Gourd

Ingredients

  1. as per taste Salt
  2. 5-10Potol(pointed gour)
  3. 1 tspTurmeric
  4. 1 tspChilli powder
  5. 1 1/2 tbspOil

Cooking Instructions

    Scrap the potols. Don't peel it completely. Cut it half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Mix with salt and turmeric. You may avoid red chilli powder. No need to add.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a flat bottom wide pan.

  4. 4

    Add potols cover with lid.

  5. 5

    After sometime when potols get a nice charred effect,flip potols. Again cover and cook the other side.
