Ingredients

  1. 1 cupLeftover cooked vermicelli
  2. 1/2 cupBread crumbs
  3. 1Chopped onion medium
  4. 1 tspChopped green chilli and ginger
  5. as per tasteto taste Salt
  6. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder
  8. as requiredOil for frying
  9. 1 tspMustard seeds
  10. 2 tbspPoppy seeds

    Take cooked leftovers vermicelli in a mixer jar and make a smooth paste. Keep aside.

    Heat a pan. Add 1 tsp oil. Add mustard seeds when the seeds crackle add chopped green chilli and ginger and chopped onion in a pan. Saute till onion gets softened add grinded vermicelli.Mix properly. Add salt,Red chilli powder,Garam masala powder and stir a minute. Remove pan from heat.

    Add bread crumbs. Mix well and make outlets.

    Spread poppy seeds in a plate. Cover all outlets with poppy seeds. Heat oil in a kadhai. Deep fry all the prepared cutlets. Fry till they turn golden brown in colour. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
