Steps

Approx 30 Mins
  1. 1

Mash the rice if it is too grainy. Do not over mash. Just enough to hold itself with all the ingredients when you form the cutlets.

  2. 2

Mix all the ingredients well with the rice except the oil/butter.

  3. 3

Now form into cutlet shapes. You can wet your palm with a few drops of water if the mixture is too sticky.

  4. 4

Heat some oil/butter & shallow fry the cutlets on low to medium heat/flame till they are golden brown on both sides & cooked through.

  5. 5

Can be served hot with ketchup or mayo-ketchup dip.
