Ingredients

15 minutes
5-6 servings
  1. 5 cupcooked long grain basmati rice
  2. 200 gmpaneer cubes
  3. 1.5 cupchopped carrots
  4. 1 cupgreen peas
  5. 1/2 cupchopped beans
  6. 1/2 cupalmonds
  7. 1/2 cupcashew nuts
  8. 1/4 cupraisins
  9. 2-3cardamoms
  10. 3-4cloves
  11. 1 inchcloves
  12. 1star anise
  13. 1black cardamom
  14. 8-10black pepper
  15. 4 tspghee
  16. 1 tspcumin seeds
  17. 2bay leaves
  18. Salt as per taste
  19. 2-3 tspsugar or as per your taste

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat a pan and put ghee in it and fry the dry fruits and keep them aside.

    In the same pan put the paneer cubes and fry them till they become golden brown in colour and also keep them aside.

    In the same pan put all the whole spices together and saute them for 20 seconds.

    Then add all the chopped veggetables together and saute it and cover it for 5-6 minutes till they become cooked.

    Then add salt and boiled rice in it and mix it well.

    Add sugar, fried paneer and dry fruits in it.

    Mix it well and again cook it for 2-3 minutes and switch off the flame.

    Now your Navratan pulao is ready.

    Serve hot with any curry.
