Steps

Wash and cook 1 cup matar dal in the pressure cooker with 2 cups of water

Take one pan for heating oil,add cumin seeds,garlic minced. when the spices splutter and chopped onion and green chilli.

Fry till the onion brown and softened.Add the cooked dal and mix well.
- 4
Add salt and water,let the dal bring to a boil,add a little ghee and garam masala powder,mix well and turn off the heat.
