- My husband's favorite recipe made by his grandmother every Christmas. Of course I had to figure them out!

- 1 1/2 lb pork, cooked and chopped fine
- 1/2 cup chopped figs
- 3/4 cup pork or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp white wine
- 1/2 cup farmers cheese
- 1 salt and pepper to taste

- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup lard or shortening

- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp onion salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 3/4 cup lard, shortening or oil for frying

- We love naan bread, and this crust's flavor. Had an idea to make some flatbread with it and this is the wonderful creation we came up with! Just roll out egg sized pieces of dough on a hot griddle with butter until nicely browned and puffed. Use as you would a pita flatbread or any other wrap. Makes great tasty vehicles for all sorts of savory fillings. Añadir comentario

- This is a delicious combination! I love the fluffy egg base after it cooks. We did add a few more herbs and seasonings including white pepper parsley basil. I did double the cheese by accident, and we added some white and brown button mushrooms. This is a keeper! With our garden harvest we will be eating a lot of this dish! Añadir comentario
