Homemade herb-fried potato chips
I got a good harvest of different kinds of potatoes from the garden so decided to make some colorful chips! You can of course use whatever types of potatoes you like.Frying the chips along with fresh thyme and/or rosemary makes your plain, old potato chips feel just a bit more fancy ;)

Crisp potatoe chips .
my boys love these for a munch lol :-)

Cassava chips
In my opinion these are way tastier than potato chips. The cassava cooks up crispier so they taste more like a kettle cooked chip. The ingredient list is basic. You just need an amount of oil for a deep fryer and salt is simply added a little bit at a time. No need to measure anything!

Sweet Potato Chips
I love the salty butter flavor of "Osatsudoki" snacks, and wondered if I could recreate it at home. I gave it a try and my family loved it.☆So I published the recipe. If you slice the sweet potato too thick, it's difficult to quick-fry. Please be sure to adjust the flavor in Step 1. I added salt last, and it was nothing but a lump of salt in the end.I'm scared of flying hot oil, so I combined the oil and the sweet potato together. The oil doesn't have to be pre-warmed for you to be able to quick-fry. Home made oven chips!!!
One of my sons is poorly this week so I'm concentrating on cooking lots of comfort food - and who doesn't find hot crispy chips with salt, vinagre and heaps of tomato sauce comforting??!! I don't like frying chips in tons of oil, but they taste just as good cooked like this in the oven and are much healthier too. And since basically they just cook themselves, the hardest part is peeling them 😊👌👊

Easy! Tasty! Sweet Potato Chips
When I added soy sauce, these became even tastier than I expected!!They were also a hit with my friend, and when I shared the recipe with her, her family also raved about them.Could it be that soy sauce is the taste of comfort for Japanese people?!- If sliced too thinly, the chips will be too oily, so slice to a substantial thickness.- To drain the excess oil, spread on a sheet of newspaper.- Adjust the amount of sauce to the sweetness of the potato, or to whatever you prefer.- If deep-fried for too long, they'll become bitter, so be careful!! Fish and Chips
My husband and I love fish and chips, so we've been looking through various recipes. We couldn't get ahold of cod this time, so we used swordfish instead. You can use flounder, halibut, or other white fish. Remove the skin and bones! If you couldn't find dark beer, you can use normal beer. The key is to use chilled beer. Enjoy leftover beer in the kitchen while cooking (lol). Just be careful not to get drunk. This time, I made these fish and chips in a Dutch oven with my husband. I made this recipe to deep-fry the ingredients in the normal way, but if you have a Dutch oven, place the ingredients in heated oil, cover them with a lid, and leave it over very low heat for about 7 minutes. Then remove the lid, deep-fry over hight heat, and they're done. Recipe by Gaserisa

Homemade Tortilla Chips
Simple salt-flavored tortilla chips weren't available in my neighborhood before, so I've been making my own chips for a while. They're a hit when I serve them to guests with avocado dip, so this has been in my standard repertoire for 12 years. If you are using store-bought corn tortillas, cut them into triangles with scissors. In Step 3, if you find the tortilla mix hard to handle, coat your hands in oil and roll it into balls.Since the chips are served with dip, I didn't salt them. They are delicious when freshly fried, and simply flavored with salt and spices of your choice.Spread the mixture thinly for crispy results. Recipe by Brandy

Non-Fried Potato Chips Easy in the Microwave
Since store-bought potato chips are high in calories, my family doesn't buy any chips at the store. But my husband was craving potato chips in the middle of the night, so I tried making these in the microwave. I certainly didn't want to go through the trouble of deep-frying the potatoes in the middle of the night! The salt will not stick to the chips if they are seasoned after microwaving, so I recommend seasoning them before microwaving.Even if the chips are not completely dried in the microwave, they will eventually dry up and become crispy if set aside for a while after microwaving. Sweet potato and chips chaat
Chaat is a bold and colourful snack that is a “must” have for iftar. It is made almost on daily basis with some variations.Chaat is a popular street food snack that combines the crunch of chips with bold flavours of chaat masala, fresh herbs, chutneys, vegetables, spices and lemon juice. The best thing is that it is easy to prepare and takes little time, which makes it ideal for a weekday when you are too exhausted to stand by a stove after a lengthy fast.A humble blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavours, this Sweet Potato and Chips Chaat, on the other hand, is different from the regular aloo channa chaat (Chickpeas and Potato Chaat). Here sweet potato replaces the regular boiled potatoes and there are no chickpeas either. This recipe is simple. Chop the boiled, peeled sweet potato and mix it with onion, cilantro and green chillies along with salt, chilli powder, cumin powder, chaat masala and lemon juice. Just combine everything and just before serving, crush chips and add. Enjoy! In this recipe, everything is balanced – sweetness of the sweet potato, faint pungency of chaat masala, and tanginess of lemon juice and crunch of chips. That’s the flavor pairing, you would absolutely love. This is a super quick, low-fat, nutritious snack to enjoy.
