Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsBhindi(ladyfinger)
  2. 4 tbspoil
  3. 1 tspjeera(cumin seeds)
  4. 2onions chopped
  5. 2 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tsphaldi(Turmeric) powder
  8. 1 tspcoriander powder
  9. 1 tspgaram masala
  10. 3medium tomatoes chopped
  11. 1 tspKashmiri chilli powder
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 2 tbspcurd
  14. 1/2 cupwater
  15. 3 tbspchopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and clean the bhindi and chop and keep aside. Take a pan and take 2 tbsp oil and half fry the bhindi and remove and keep aside.

    In a pan add 2 tbsp oil and add jeera, chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and saute till colour changes.

    Add all masalas and then the chopped tomatoes and mix well. Add water and let it cook till tomatoes turn soft.

    Add curd, salt to taste and let it cook till oil floats.

    Add half fried bhindi to gravy and let it cook for 8-10 mins. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot with roti.
