Ingredients

  1. Flour – 2 ½ cup or 250g Instant yeast – 1 tsp Milk powder – 2 tb
  2. Butter or ghee – 2 tbsp Oil – for frying
  3. CHOCOLATE FROSTING SAUCE:
  4. 1/2 cup (90 g)semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 Tablespoons (30g)
  5. unsalted butter
  6. 2 teaspoonswater rainbow sprinkles

Cooking Instructions

    Mix instant yeast, milk powder, egg, sugar, salt and butter or ghee in flour and make smooth dough with warm water.

    If milk powder not available, then use warm milk instead of warm water to make dough.

    Leave for one hour until double in size.

    Then make 8 round balls,

    Cover and leave for proofing or Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, and gently roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a floured doughnut cutter. Let doughnutssit out to rise again until double.

    Cover loosely with a clath

    Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large heavy skillet to 350 degrees F. Slide doughnuts into the hot oil using a wide spatula.

    Turn doughnuts over as they rise to the surface.

    Fry doughnuts on each side until golden brown. Remove from hot oil, to drain on a wire rack.

    Decorate with chocolate frosting sauce,

    Coconut glaze or plain glaze.

    Serve these yummy donuts and enjoy.

    In a pan, add icing sugar, choco chip, butter and some water, cook until thick and creamy sauce.

    Dip doughnuts into the glaze while still hot, and rembo sprikles and set onto wire racks to drain off excess.
