This rice is a family favourite passed down from my Grandmother to my Mum and on to us children. It’s a fantastic recipe to accompany any dish (and smells amazing, too!).

I'm sure you'll be fascinated with this novel flavor. The potatoes you add at the end really absorb the savory taste, and it's absolutely delicious. Enjoy it with some refreshing salad! Also try my Iranian Eggplant Dip. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by Kuminchan cookpad.japan -
California Farm Ham Shank Pulao California Farm Ham Shank Pulao
Here is cookpad member’s Sarvat traditional pulao recipe. I had already used up the shanks from my butchered lamb , so I tried her traditional Afghan dish with other meat, smoked ham shanks. My apologies to Afghan tradition. I used salt free beef broth to compensate for the smoked shank salt and taste. The result is delicious, a meaty, rich dish, spicy and sweet and fresh at the same time, with flavorful rice and spicy meat. Hobby Horseman -

Kashmiri Pulao Kashmiri Pulao
#reststyle - This is a traditional Kashmiri style pulao, loaded with dry fruits and cooked in saffron infused milk. It is a very easy recipe and quite popular in many restaurants. Though it slightly differs from the usual pulao as it has minimum of spices, is slightly towards the sweeter side due to the presence of dry fruits and is non spicy. Few chopped fresh fruits, fried paneer cubes and fried onion may be used to garnish this exotic rich pulao. It can be served along with any veg. / non-veg. side dish or raita. Bethica Das
