I came up with an even easier way to make Iranian pilaf.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 mlworth Basmati rice
  2. 1Onion
  3. 2 tspOlive oil
  4. 100 gramsA. Canned Tomato
  5. 350 mlWater
  6. 1/2 tspTurmeric
  7. 3/4 tspCinnamon powder
  8. 3/4 tspSalt
  9. 1Fresh parsley

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onion. Crush the tomato with your hands.

  2. 2

    Heat the olive oil in an earthenware pot and sauté the onion.

  3. 3

    Add the rice and the "A" ingredients and cook the rice. Once cooked, mix in the parsley.

  4. 4

    On the side, cut cubes of cucumber, onions, and tomatoes and mix with lemon juice and salt to make a salad.
