Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsugar
  2. 3/4 cupvegetable oil
  3. 4eggs
  4. 2 tspvanilla essence
  5. 2 cupsself raising flour
  6. 1/2 cupmilk

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 175°C and spray or line your muffin tin with muffin cases.

  2. 2

    In a bowl of your mixer mix sugar and oil till well blended.

  3. 3

    Add one egg at a time and mix well

  4. 4

    Add vanilla essence

  5. 5

    Sift and mix in the flour

  6. 6

    Add milk and mix in till well mixed, don't overmix

  7. 7

    Pour into muffin tin, 3/4 full. I did mine almost full because my cases are lower than the muffin holes

  8. 8

    Bake for 18-20minutes or till a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.

I discovered my love for cooking a few years ago. Since eating out is expensive i figured i had some learning to do. Living in a very small town(i doubt it can even be called that) where you cant always find what you wanted also pushed me towards doing it on my own. I am Zimbabwean by the way.I think the internet is the best invention ever since i can look up recipes, try and modify them to suit my preferences.
