Ingredients

  1. For making the chicken tikka
  2. 1chicken breast cut into 1/2 inch bite size pieces
  3. 1 TSPginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 TSPsalt
  5. 1/4 TSPred degi mirch powder
  6. 1/4 TSPdhaniya/coriander powder
  7. 1/4 TSPJeera /cumin powder
  8. 1/4 TSPgaram masala
  9. 1/8 TSPBlack Pepper Powder
  10. 1 TSPkasuri methi
  11. 1 tbspBesan/gram flour
  12. 1 tbspcream or malai
  13. 1 tbspbutter
  14. For the rice
  15. 2 cupscooked rice (a little firm)
  16. 2 tbspoil
  17. 1 tbspchopped garlic
  18. 1Onion finely chopped
  19. 1/4 cupchopped green bell pepper/ capsicum
  20. 1/4 cupchopped red bell pepper
  21. 1/4 cupchopped yellow bell pepper
  22. 1/2 TSPsalt
  23. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  24. 1 TSPchilli sauce
  25. 1 TSPsoya sauce
  26. 1 TSPvinegar
  27. as neededChopped greens of green onion for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Clean and pat dry the chicken pieces. Add all the ingredients except mustard oil, cream and butter.

    Mix well, add the mustard oil and cream. Mix really well. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 170 degree Celsius. line a baking tray with foil. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on the foil. Cook for 10 minutes. Turning once in between. After 10 minutes baste with melted butter.

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add chopped garlic and onion. Saute on high heat till light golden.

    Now add the chopped bell peppers. Mix.cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Now add the rice, garam masala, salt, chili sauce, vinegar and soya sauce. Mix well. Garnish with chopped green onions green. Serve hot. Yummy fusion Punjabi Chinese is ready.
