Ingredients

6 hours
3 - 4 people
  1. 400 glamb cut into large pieces
  2. 1onion, finely chopped
  3. 2garlic cloves - chopped
  4. 2 cmfresh ginger - grated
  5. 1cinnamon stick
  6. 2-3bay leaves
  7. 150 gGreek / natural yoghurt
  8. 400 mlvegetable stock
  9. Chopped fresh coriander
  10. Paste
  11. 2 tspgaram masala
  12. 1 tspground coriander
  13. 1 tspcumin powder
  14. 1 tspturmeric
  15. 2 tbsptomato purée
  16. 0.5 tspchili powder
  17. 0.5 tspblack pepper

    Gather ingredients

    Combine all the paste ingredients and set aside

  3. 3

    Heat some oil and brown the lamb then set aside

  4. 4

    Add the onion and fry until translucent then add the garlic and ginger and fry for 1-2 minutes

  5. 5

    Add the paste & fry for 2 minutes then add 400ml vegetable stock

  6. 6

    Transfer everything to the slow cooker. Add the bay leaves and cinnamon stick

  7. 7

    Cook on low for 6 hours

  8. 8

    Remove the bay & cinnamon. Stir in the yoghurt and warm through for 5 minutes

  9. 9

    Serve with rice, garnish with fresh chopped coriander
