Ingredients

  1. 1 cupfinely chopped fenugreek leaves
  2. 1 cupcoarse wheat flour
  3. 2 tbspgram flour
  4. 1 tbspoil
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tspcoriander-cumin powder
  8. 1 tspsugar
  9. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  10. 1 tsplemon juice
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. as per needOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add all spices,gram flour and oil in the wheat flour and mix well. Add cooking soda in fenugreek leaves and pour lemon juice over it, bubbling occurs. Then mix it well. Add this to the flour mix and knead medium dough by adding a little water.

    Grease your palm with oil and make small, oblong dumplings from the dough.

    Heat oil and deep fry it on medium flame till it turns crispy and golden.

    Remove it in a tissue lined plate. Once it cools down completely, store it in a clean and air tight jar.
