Deluxe Marinated Pork Yakiniku for BBQ

I updated a previous recipe of mine[Special Marinade! Pork Yaki-Niku]. I added katakuriko and it made this more tender!

This has katakuriko powder in it so it's going to thicken as you cook it. If you don't want it to thicken, then simply omit the katakuriko.
If you're going to be bringing this to a barbecue, use large and thicker cuts of meat. Recipe by Hokkori-no

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 700 gramsThinly sliced pork
  2. 1Red lettuce, mizuna greens, cabbage, etc.
  3. 1Vegetable oil
  4. 1White sesame seeds (for finishing touches)
  5. Marinade
  6. 6 tbspSoy sauce
  7. 4 tbspHoney
  8. 2 tspSesame oil
  9. 2 tspVinegar
  10. 2 tbspGrated onion
  11. 1Grated garlic
  12. 2 tbspWhite sesame seeds
  13. 1Shichimi souce
  14. 1and 1/2 tablespoon Katakuriko

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the pork into bite sized pieces and put it into a bowl. Add in all the ingredients for the marinade and rub it into the pork with your hands. Let it sit.

    Heat up some vegetable oil in a frying pan and then add Step 1. Occasionally stir it using chopsticks and be careful not to burn it by keeping the heat on medium.

    Place the shredded lettuce, chopped up mizuna greens, torn up cabbage, etc. on a plate. Top with the pork once it's cooked, and then top with white sesame seeds.

    ☆ You can also roll the pork up in red or leafy lettuce and eat it like that.

    You can use other kinds of meat with this marinade as well! This is great to bring to a barbecue.
