Cooking Instructions

Wash and Soak all 2 dals in water for 4 hours.

After 4 hours strain the water and Grind it to a smooth paste in a mixer.

Remove it in a bowl. Add asafoetida and salt to taste.

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add 1 - 1 tbsp of dal mixture 3-4 times in oil and deep fry till golden brown colour. Insert 1 black pepper and 1 raisin in centre. Like wise make all the vadas.

Dip vadas in lukewarm water for 1/2 an hour. Then squeeze it between your palms and remove excess water

Mix curd and sugar in a separate mixing bowl till sugar dissolves completely.

Arrange these vadas on a serving plate. Pour green chutney, tamarind south, and curd over it.

Sprinkle salt, roasted cumin seeds powder, and chaat masala and serve.
