  1. 3 cupsidli rice
  2. 1 cupwhole urad dal
  3. 1 tspfenugreek seeds
  4. as per tasteSalt

    Wash and soak urad dal +fenugreek seeds together and rice separately for 6-7hrs or overnight.

    Grind urad dal and rice separately. After grinding mix both rice and dal batter together, keep it overnight for fermentation.

    Take out the desired amount of batter add salt and little bit of water. Batter should be neither too thick nor too runny.put into greased idly plates for 15min.

    Check with knife or tooth pick. If it Comes out clean, idli s are done.
    Can serve with coconut chutney, tomatoes chutney or idly podi.
