Steak and Gravy Steak and Gravy
I was raised on this stuff and so we’re my kids. Now my grandkids are. It’s so easy, very satisfying, and budget friendly. I think every culture in the world has their version of steak and gravy. Sometimes I make mashed potatoes and sometimes I make rice, a little veg and bread and you’re golden. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Sautéed Broccoli and Beef with Sesame Gravy Sautéed Broccoli and Beef with Sesame Gravy
Since I will have an exam next week. My friend and I decided to meet up at the campus for a study group. And we also decided not to go out for lunch. Because we don’t want to waste our time for looking the restaurant, go there, waiting for the food, eating ,and again go back to the campus. So we decided to bring foods from home to share. Since two of my friends are going to bring the dessert and snacks, then I decided to bring rice complete with the dishes. So I made non spicy sautéed broccoli and beef with sesame gravy, deep fried chicken wings, and sliced omelette. I intended to make all the food non-spicy, because one of my friend, she doesn’t eat spicy food. Long story short, after I made the food than I arranged into a bento lunch using the takeout box. My friends were so happy. They’re enjoying every bite of the food. So, today I am going to share one of the recipe of those food. I am going to share how to make sautéed broccoli and beef with sesame gravy. Ops I forgot, I left the leftovers of the broccoli and beef for my hubby. And when I got home, it was already gone. He ate whole thing. When he came home from exercising he said that “the broccoli and beef was so delicious “. Of course I take that compliment, because it makes me happy 😊All right let’s jump to the recipe. Shall we....? Nia Hiura -

Sausage Gravy Sausage Gravy
I wanted to make some gravy sauce for meat, and while I was looking on the internet for ideas, I found sausage gravy. This is my original version, that I came up with after a bit of experimentation.Be sure not to take your eyes off the pan, keeping watch so that it doesn't burn. Other than that, it's easy. Add the milk bit by bit until it reaches your desired consistency. You can also add in your favorite vegetables, or make it just using sausage, butter, flour, and milk. Leftover Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Sandwich Leftover Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Sandwich
I love to get a piece of bread and make a fold-over sandwich with mashed potatoes. Then again I love leftover meatloaf in a sandwich. So the two become one, and it doesn't disappoint!! I have a puddle of barbecue sauce to dip it in. Of course pumpernickel rye bread because it's wide like we make our meatloaves. I also eat this one cold or warm. skunkmonkey101 -

Looks like a lot of steps, but this meal is absolutely simple, quick to make, and full of flavor. My hubby's not a cube steak fan and THIS is how I finally got him to enjoy it!
