Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and soak rice overnight. Blend it the next day.
- 2
Scoop like 3 tablespoon of the rice mixture, boil some water and add the rice to the boiling water to make a smooth pap. Keep it aside.
- 3
Now add some baking powder and activated yeast to the blended white rice. Also add salt and sugar to your taste. Then whisk in the rice pap you made and stir well.
- 4
Let it sit for like 30mins until it starts to make bubbles on top and increase in volume.
- 5
Now fry on medium heat on a pan. Cover the pan while frying. Do not turn over the sinasir, you only fry one side.
- 6
Serve with egusi stew, soup or any sauce you like.

Hot Rolls Hot Rolls
This is the recipe I found 15 years ago in a charity cookbook I got. Those cookbooks are like the Dead Sea scrolls. Anyway, I had to rearrange it a bit to make it work for me. It can be made in a variety of different pans with add ins and toppings from sweet to savory. Keep in mind this is bread so it’s not overly sweet. I’ve used it in desserts and as dinner rolls and slab bread. It has a million uses. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Ethiopian Injera Sourdough Flatbread Ethiopian Injera Sourdough Flatbread
I became hooked on the injera and wat (Ethiopian curry) that my colleague would always give me. Now, it's become an essential part of my meals, in addition to rice. Like a sour crepe, this sponge-like bread absorbs the soup of the curry, making it delicious.Teff is a fine grain from Ethiopia that resembles buckwheat flour. In the U.S., you can order it online. This is also delicious made without any teff flour. Timing is important; if you let it stand too long, the batter will stick to the frying pan and the taste will become foul. Be sure to carefully watch the degree of fermentation. Recipe by Puyoeri cookpad.japan -
Sakura An Paste Made of Preserved Sakura Leaves Sakura An Paste Made of Preserved Sakura Leaves
I settled on this procedure to simplify the labor-intensive sakura an paste.I used to make this with preserved sakura blossoms, but the end result was too tart and bitter, so I now use salt-preserved sakura leaves.Even if you don't pass the beans through a strainer, it'll have a smooth texture from blending in a food processor.
