Cooking Instructions

Wash and chop moongre in smaller pieces. Peel wash and Chop potatoes. Grate tomato and ginger.

Heat ghee in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put grated ginger and tomato paste and saute till ghee separates. Then add salt, red chilli powder turmeric powder and asafoetida and coriander seeds powder and mix well.

Now add chopped moo gre and potatoes and mix. Add 1/2 bowl water and cover the lid. Cook it on low flame till 10 minutes.

Check subji. Add garam masala and stir well.

Serve hot with chapatti or rice garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
