Cooking Instructions

Mix rava and curd in a big mixing bowl,add salt to tastemakers well and set aside for at least 15 minutes.

Mix together all the chopped veggies. Add water to the batter after 15 minutes to make dropping consistency.

Heat a pan,add few drops of oil and wipe it from tissue paper. Add one full ladle of batter to the pan and spread it to 1/2 cm thick circle. Sprinkle the chopped veggies on top cook it nicely till little colour change, flip it and and cook for another 2 minutes.remove the uttapam from pan and make more.

For chutney heat oil in pan add urad dal till light golden colour then addbroken dried chilli and ginger stir it and add the onion sauté it till it turns pink.then add chopped tomatoes, asafoetida and salt cook everything on low heat for about 5 to 6 minutes.

Once the onion tomato mixture cools down grind then in smooth paste.
Then temper it by heating oil in pan and adding the mustard seeds,chana dal and urad dal let them crackle add in red dried chilli. Ow add the onion tomato paste to the pan stir nicely and cook again for 5 minutes on low flame.add salt if required.chutney is ready to be served with uttapam.
