Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 1 cupmoong dal
  3. 8 cupswater
  4. 1 tbspghee
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  6. 1 pinchasafoetida
  7. 1 tbspturmeric powder
  8. As Per TasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rice and dal for 20 minutes

    In a pressure cooker heat up ghee. Crackle cumin seeds. Add asafoetida.

    Add rice and mung daal. then water salt and turmeric powder. Take a whistle turn off the flame.

    Your healthy Khichdi is ready. Add desi ghee and serve with Achar and curd.
