Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsbasmati rice
  2. Beef
  3. Beef stock
  4. Tatashe
  5. Pepper
  6. Onion
  7. 3large Tomatoes
  8. Veg oil
  9. Garlic and ginger paste
  10. TinTomatoes
  11. Knorr
  12. to taste Salt
  13. leafBay
  14. Butter

Cooking Instructions

    Wash rice with hot water and drain, set aside;

    Parboil beef with pepper, onion, garlic and ginger, a little salt and knorr cube, cook till it’s soft, then fry and set aside; also set aside beef stock.

    Blend pepper, tomatoes, 1/2 onion, Tatashe; heat up oil once it’s hot, fry parboiled beef and set aside

    Dice remaining onion, add to hot oil, then pour in blended mix, after 7 mins, add tomatoes paste stir fry for 10 to 12 mins, add bay leaf,

    Stir in knorr and salt and stir fry for another 5 mins, add washed rice, beef stock and little hot water, stir and adjust seasoning if necessary

    Reduce heat to the lowest, cover with foil and cook till rice is tender, remove foil and stir. Add butter, stir and turn off heat

  7. 7

    Serve with fried beef and enjoy 🤤🤤😋😋
