Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 1 cupwarm water
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1 tbspyeast
  5. 6 tbspoil
  6. 4 tbspsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Add all dry ingredients in a bowl then add 4 tbsp of oil and mix oil. Add water gradually and mix well until it forms a soft dough. Place the dough on oily surface and knead well for 25 mins adding the remaining 2tbsp oil at intervals until the dough becomes softer and stretchy.

    Cover the mixture with oiled film in an already oiled bowl and keep in a warm place to rice for an hour

    Uncover the mixture and punch down and knead the dough for another 10 mins. Divide into 7/8 parts and form balls. Place in a well greased pan and allow to rise for 30 mins until double in size. Brush with water or warm milk

    Bake in a preheated oven for 40 mins @200°C. Allow to cool on a wired rack a bit then brush with melted butter. Ready to serve
