Ingredients

  1. 3 cupSweetened flake coconut
  2. 2/3 cupSweetened condensed milk
  3. 1/2 cupPowdered sugar
  4. 12 ozDark chocolate chips or chunks

Cooking Instructions

    Mix together the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Mixture should come together, but still be sticky.

    Form mixture into rounded rectangles, about 2-3 inches in length. Wet your hands for easier handling.

    Refrigerate for about 1hour.

    After coconut rectangles have chilled, take out the fridge. Melt the dark chocolate to your pkt instructions, chocolate should be smooth and glossy.

    Dip each rectangle into chocolate until completely covered. Place on a wire rack or parchment paper to harden. Refrigerate for 30 mins.

    I used a toothpick to lift rectangles out of chocolate, not as messy

I made the bounty bars with both dark and milk chocolate. Delicious.
