my fiance loves red lobster biscuits and I've tried the bisquick version and it just doesn't cut it.. I've tried a lot of them and none he approved of. so I came up with my version by combing several diffferent recipes from online and adding my own seasoning combination, lots of trial and error and uneaten biscuits until now!. and he said these are perfectly spot on! please try them and tell me what y'all think! :)

  2. 2

preheat oven to 400° and prepare baking pan by lining with parchment paper or spray with non stick spray.

  3. 3

in a large bowl wisk together, flour, baking powder, garlic salt, parsely, bay, paprika, nutmeg and pepper.

  4. 4

toss in cubed butter and cut the butter into the flour until small crumbles form.

  5. 5

add cheese and toss to coat.

  6. 6

stir in buttermilk until mixed but do not over mix!

  7. 7

drop by the spoonful onto prepared baking sheet.

  8. 8

bake for 14-16 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  9. 9

meanwhile wisk together all butter drizzle ingredients.

  10. 10

when biscuits are done and still hot brush butter mix all over tops of all biscuits.

  11. 11

    serve hot!

  12. 12

    enjoy!

  13. 13

    makes about 10-12 biscuits

I've made these biscuits many times. This was a good recipe, but I think i prefer the bisquick method. I still cut butter into the bisquick. These were a little flat and I think could have used a bit more salt.
