Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°.
- 2
In small saucepan, bring butter and sugar to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 3
Meanwhile, line a 15x10x1" baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place crackers salt side down in foil.
- 4
Pour butter and sugar mixture over crackers and bake 8 minutes.
- 5
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake 5 minutes longer or until chocolate chips begin to soften. With metal spatula, smooth chocolate chips over top. ***The chips will not melt, just get warm and gooey. They will be soft enough to spread over the cracker base.***
- 6
Melt white chocolate and shortening. Drizzle over chocolate.
- 7
Chill 20 minutes and break into pieces.
