  1. 1 cupbasmati rice
  2. 2 cupwater
  3. 1/2 cupCauliflower Florets
  4. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  5. 1/2 cupcarrot
  6. 1/2 cuppotatoes
  7. 1onion thinly sliced
  8. 1 tspginger garlic paste(optional)
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspcorriender powder
  12. 1 tspgaram masala
  13. 1 tspcumin seed
  14. 2 tspghee
  15. 2bay leaves
  16. 2badi elaichi
  17. 2whole red chillies
  18. 1Dalchini stick
  19. 1star anise
  20. 4long
  21. 8-10Kali mirch

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rice in a water for 20 min. Deep fry the Cauliflower Florets and potatoes.

    Heat oil in pressure cooker. When heated add cumin seed, dalchini, bay leaves, long,badi elaichi, kali mirch, star anise and whole red chillies.

    Now add onions and saute till become golden. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 min.

    Add all the veggies except green peas. Cook for 2 min. Now add red chilli powder, corriender powder and garam masala powder.

    Cook until oil get separated. Now add soaked rice to it and cook it for 2 min. Stir it countinusly otherwise rice can stick to the bottom.

    Add 2 tsp ghee in it. Add green peas and mix well.

    Add 2 cup hot water. Close the pressure cooker lid and cook for 1 whistle.

    Serve hot with Curd.
