Ingredients

  1. ● For The Meat [fried]
  2. 1.5 PoundsCubed Lean Beef [4 large 1/4" thin patties]
  3. ● For The Flour Dredge [whisk well]
  4. 2 CupsAP Flour
  5. 1/2 CupPanko Bread Crumbs
  6. 1 tspHot Paprika
  7. 1/2 tspCayenne Pepper
  8. 1 tspGranulated Garlic Powder
  9. 1 tspGranulated Onion Powder
  10. 1 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  11. 1 tspCreole Seasoning
  12. 1 tbspDried Parsley
  13. ● For The Egg Coating Mixture [whisk well]
  14. 2LG Egglands Best Eggs
  15. 1 CupWhole Milk Or Buttermilk [more if needed]
  16. ● For The Sweet Corn [microwaved]
  17. 2 CansSweet Corn [fully drained]
  18. 2 tbspSweet Butter
  19. 1 tbspDried Parsley
  20. 1 tbspDried Chives
  21. to tasteSalt
  22. ● For The Mashed Potatoes [microwaved]
  23. 2 (24 oz)Box Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes [great brand!]
  24. ● For The White Southern Gravy [whisk very well while simmering]
  25. 2 PackagesWhite Country Gravy [your choice of brand]
  26. as neededWhole Milk Or Water [as per manufactures directions]
  27. ● For The Oils [as needed - just enough to fry meat]
  28. Vegetable Oil
  29. 2 tbspSalted Butter
  30. ● For The Sides [as needed]
  31. Your Favorite Hot Sauce
  32. Texas Sliced Buttered Toast
  33. Over Easy Fried Eggs
  34. Instant Fried & Browned Hashbrowns

Cooking Instructions

20 Minutes
  1. 1

    Here's the bulk of what you'll need.

    Wait for the oils to heat up well without burning your butter.

  3. 3

    Coat your patties with your flour mixture. Dip in egg mixture and re-dip in flour. Press hard. Then place in hot oil.

    Fry on both sides for 2 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

  5. 5

    Drain on thick paper towels.

  6. 6

    Make your white gravy as per manufactures directions. Whisk constantly while simmering.

  7. 7

    Heat up your corn in the microwave with butter, dried parsley and salt to taste.

    Microwave your potatoes and stir well half way thru.
