  1. 60 gmargarine
  2. 1large onion
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1 bunchpumpkin leaves
  5. 6potatoes
  6. 2 cupsgreen peas

    Prepare the pumpkin leaves, make sure they are the soft young leaves

    Add margarine in a pot and add chopped onions and cook until golden brown

  3. 3

    Add the peas and potatoes and cook whole

  4. 4

    Add enough water to cover the contents in the pot and place pumpkin leaves on top and cover with a lid

  5. 5

    Cook over medium heat for about 45min and drain excess water add salt to taste

  6. 6

    Mash it using a wooden spoon

  7. 7

    Serve it with stew of your choice
