  1. 2 cupBasmati rice -
  2. 250 gmsSpinach -
  3. 2 Chopped tomatoes -medium
  4. 1Chopped onion - medium
  5. 1 tspGinger garlic paste -
  6. 1 tbspPeas -
  7. 1/2 bowlCottage cheese / paneer -
  8. 1/4 tspCumin seeds -
  9. Cloves- 2 - 3
  10. 1 inch stickCinnamon -
  11. 1-2Bay leaf -
  12. 2-3Whole black pepper -
  13. 1-2Green cardamom -
  14. 1Black cardamom -
  15. 2 tbspClarified butter / ghee -

Cooking Instructions

    In a blender add spinach and make a paste.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan.

  3. 3

    Add cottage cheese / panner fry and strain it.

  4. 4

    Add cumin seeds,black pepper,cloves,cinnamon,bay leaf,cardamom.

    Add onion and fry till brown.

  6. 6

    Add ginger garlic paste and mix well

  7. 7

    Add tomatoes,peas and spinach paste and stir fry for 4 - 5 mins.

    Soak rice for 15 mins.

    Add rice and mix well

    Add cottage cheese / paneer,salt and 4 cup of water

  11. 11

    Once boiled simmer the gas and cover it.

    Serve with raita
