Ingredients

  1. 2 cupbasmati rice
  2. 1medium onion, finally chopped
  3. 1tomato finally, chopped
  4. 1 cupgreen peas,(mutter)
  5. 1 cupcarrot, finally chopped
  6. 1potato, finally chopped
  7. 2-3green chilli,
  8. 2-3garlic
  9. 1small piece of bay leaf,ginger
  10. 1 -inch piece of cinnamon
  11. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1/4 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  13. 1/4 tsp garam masala,1/4tps coriander powder
  14. 2 tsp finally chopped green coriander leaves,1tps curd
  15. to taste salt
  16. 2 tsp oil or ghee

Cooking Instructions

    Wash rice and soak it in water for 15-20minutes.drain and keep aside until it needed.

    Heat oil or ghee together in a pressure cooker on a low flame.add bay leaf,cinnamon and ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 seconds.add onion and saute until it turns lights brown or for approx 3 minutes.

    Add chopped tomato,green peas,potato,carrot and green chilli.

    Mix it well and stir fry them approx 3-4minutes mint.add turmeric powder,redchilli,garammasala,coriander powder and curd.

    Mix it well,now add soaked basmati rice and mix it well.

    Add 3 cup of water and mix it well.

    Close the lid and cook over medium flame for 2 whistles.when 1st whistles is completed reduce the flame to low and cook until another whistle.turn off the flame.

    Open the lid carefully and fluff the rice with a fork.transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with green coriander leaves.
