Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 3/4 cupsugar
  3. 2teaspoonfuls baking powder
  4. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonground cinnamon
  6. 1 tablespoonmargarine
  7. 2eggs
  8. 1/2 cupmilk
  9. 1 litercooking oil (for deep frying)

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the dry ingredients (flour,baking powder,cinnamon,salt and sugar) in a big bowl.

    Take half the margarine and rub it in the flour using the tips of your fingers

  3. 3

    Make a well in the center and add in the eggs and milk. Mixing it with a cooking stick till combined

  4. 4

    Now add a little flour and knead the dough with your hands until it’s not sticky

  5. 5

    Take the remaining margarine rub in your palms and apply on the dough. Cover with a kitchen cloth and leave it for at least an hour

  6. 6

    Flour a clean surface and roll out the dough into 1cm thickness,cut out little triangles deep fry them in hot oil till browned on both sides.

    Ready to serve with tea
