Ingredients

  1. 300 gramsblack chana
  2. 2 cuprice
  3. 3chopped onions
  4. 4chopped tomatoes
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. to tastesalt
  7. 2 tspdegi red chilli
  8. 1 tbspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspcoriander powder
  10. 1 tspkitchen king
  11. 1 tspgaram masala
  12. 1 tspcumin seeds
  13. as neededwater
  14. as neededoil
  15. as neededcoriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Chana should be washed & oversoaked the night

  2. 2

    Take pressurecooker,put 1 tbsp of oil in it

  3. 3

    Add chopped onions & ginger garlic paste till they become golden in colour

  4. 4

    Add all the ingredients in it & stir for 2 sec then put chopped tomatoes in it & mix well,Sause it to become smooth paste

    Now add soaked channas with same water in the cooked paste & give it 2_3 whistles,then switch off the gas

    Let it be cool down then open the lid & on low flame cook till the whole water is absorbed

    Again put 1 glass of water in it & cover the lid & give it 1 whistle & low the flame,cook for 20 min

    Switch off the flame & let it cooldown then open the lid & check if the channas r properly cooked or not

    If u want u can add more water according to the need

    Garnish with coriander leaves

    Take a karahi,put 1 tbsp of oil in it & add cumin seeds& cook till it becomes brown,now add double the water means if we r making 1 glass of rice put 2 glass water in it

    Add 1 tbsp of salt in it,After one boil slowdown the flame & cover the karahi

    Cook for 20 min

    Rice with black chanais ready to serve
