Ingredients

20 minutes
12 cookies
  1. 125 gunsalted butter
  2. 150 gcaster sugar
  3. 75 gsoft brown sugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tspvanilla
  6. 220 gself raising flour
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 150 gchocolate chips
  9. 75 gpeanut butter (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 200c and line two baking trays with baking parchment

    Mix the butter and sugars in a bowl until fluffy. Then add an egg and vanilla. Mix well.

    Sift flower and salt into mixture. Mix until soft dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips and optional peanut butter.

    Put tennis ball sized lumps of batter on your tray. Leave plenty of space between each one, they will spread out a lot!

    Bake in oven for 7-12 minutes until browned. Keep an eye on them.

    Cool for 10 minutes before eating if you can wait!
